Street Sweeping will occur on April 23-April 24th between the hours of 9 am to 2 pm.
Owners of cars parked on the street during street sweeping will receive a fine in the amount of $50. “No Parking” signs will be posted on designated streets several days in advance to remind residents not to park on the street between the hours of 8:00 am -5:00 pm. Dates may be changed depending on weather conditions.


The Tax Collector for Windsor Borough is now the York County Tax Office.
Residents will need to mail tax payments to their office (28 E Market St, Room 126, York PA 17401). Tax payments cannot be dropped off at the Borough office. Please call their office with any questions at 717-771-9603.

The Red Lion American Legion Riders Post 543 will host a Chicken Barbeque Dinner on April 27th starting at 9 am at the Windsor Borough Office parking lot. Meal includes Grilled Chicken, Baked Potato, Apple Sauce, Roll & Butter. Cost is $12 (presale) or $15 the day of. Presale Tickets available at American Legion Post 543

PA Lions Beacon Lodge Camp will host an Olde Time Fun Faire on May 18th from 10-3 at the Windsor Lions Club (24 E High St). There will be carnival games, face painting, magic show, food trucks, bake sale and much more. All proceeds will go to PA Lions Beacon Lodge Special Needs Camp. In Mt. Union PA

Building Permits:
All construction, additions, placement of pre-built structures (such as sheds), paving, new patios, fences and decks require that a permit be obtained before work can be started. Please call the Codes Enforcement Officer, Bob Huska at 717-578-3010 to obtain a permit. Any projects that require digging should be called into the PA 811 number to ensure that utility lines (such as gas or water lines) will not be in the way. Some construction projects will need to be inspected by our third party inspection company (Common Wealth Code Services). Please contact Bob Huska for further information.


***Garbage complaints***
If you have a complaint or concern regarding the trash service, please contact Penn Waste directly at 717-767-4456. Provide the customer service rep with the complaint/concern and your address so they can enter a work order. All work orders will be sent to the Route Supervisor to be addressed with the drivers/workers.


Quarterly Water, Sewer and Garbage Bills:

Payments are due on the following dates to avoid paying a 15% late penalty fee: 2-12-24, 5-13-24, 8-12-24 & 11-11-24. If you did not receive a quarterly bill, please contact the office. To receive, view or pay your quarterly bills online go to https://windsor.authoritypay.com. Residents will be able to view their payments, receive a payment receipt, set up recurring payments or make a one-time payment. Please see the back of your bill for full instructions or call the office. Residents can pay on their bill weekly or monthly to ensure the bill is paid by the due date.
