Snow Removal:

Borough Ordinance requires that all residents remove snow and slush from sidewalks or gutters within 24 hours after the snow has stopped falling. It is important to remove snow, or at least clear a path wide enough for a person to pass, for the safety of all residents, especially children who use the sidewalks to wait for the school bus. Shoveling snow into the street is strictly prohibited. We also ask that you help to clear fire hydrants and storm gutters where possible.

Borough Ordinance & Permits:

Residents who have a question, concern or complaint about a Borough Ordinance or to find out if a permit is required for a home improvement project should call the Codes Enforcement Officer, Bob Huska, at 717 578-3010.
